FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dover, Delaware, May 4, 2020 — Due to the COVID-19 global outbreak, LionOS will be unable to meet its June 5, 2020 deadline for the beta release of LionOS. This also means by proxy that LioncubOS alpha has been pushed back as well.
“We would like to sincerely apologize for the delay, and we hope all our users and their friends and family are all in good health. COVID-19 has made uploading new ISO almost impossible for the LionOS team,” Project Lead Red Rayner said.
The lack of internet connectivity at the LionOS headquarters has cause the team to be unable to upload their progress. The only available connection is a microwave connection. LionOS user should not be alarmed because the project has not slowed. Development is moving. If users or future users want news updates, status updates, or learn more, LionOS suggest they join the LionOS discord.
About LionOS: LionOS is a free operating system based on MX Linux with no warranty. It is easy for Windows users to use because we have implemented various shortcuts similar to ones used in Windows.
